With the aim to inspire young filmmakers in the country, the session was a success where two talented filmmakers shared their views, tips and tricks with the young mobile filmmakers.

The event started with the welcome speech by the gracious host Alavi Abrar. Mohammad Farhad Hossain Fahad, director of ‘Interval’ and Anupam Hore, director of ‘The Conundrum’ were present in the event.

A screening session was arranged by DIMFF2023 where both ‘Interval’ and ‘The Conundrum’ were screened. After the screening, a special discussion session with the filmmakers happened where both of the filmmakers shared their journey of making the films. They also shared several aspects of filmmaking techniques starting from writing to post production with the audience.

“It is very important that storytellers take the story on a personal level and tell the story they themselves relate to for making a good film” said Anupam Hore. On the other hand, Mohammad Farhad Hossain Fahad advised young filmmakers to give emphasis on exploring new journeys through life and be their crazy selves in order to be a filmmaker.

Behind the lens was broadcasted live through Social media platforms Facebook and Instagram. Young filmmakers from all over Dhaka attended this event while filmmakers around the world from different countries attended through social media. A brief question and answer session was arranged where the aspiring filmmakers from the audience got a chance to interact with both the directors directly.

After that, honorable advisors of DIMFF2023, Mohammad Shazzad Hossain, Abdul Kabil Khan, and Syeda Sadia Mehjabin gave the token of honor to both the directors and the event ended with a Vote of thanks by Syeda Sadia Mehjabin.
