DIMFF 2023 surpasses 100 film submissions

The 9th Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival- DIMFF2023 has made the remarkable feat of exceeding  100 film submissions.

In this year’s installment, participants can submit films in 5 different categories including Vertical Film and MoJo Storytelling. With the tradition of focusing on a particular cultural heritage element as its festival theme, DIMFF has chosen “Bioscope” as this year’s theme.

The Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival, 2023 – DIMFF2023, is all set for its ninth term, with many dedicated team members working passionately. The film submissions are open till September. The selected films will be screened during the festival’s opening and closing sessions. DIMFF is a platform for young filmmakers for their creative expression.

New generation, New tools, New communication – with this motto, the Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) commenced its journey back in 2015, mainly to inspire people to create films using mobile phones.  

The 9th DIMFF 2023 film submission has started, so submit your film by 24th September 2022. The 9th Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF) will be held on February 3 & 4, 2023.
