DIMFF Celebrates 'National Film Day'

On National Film Day, Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival (DIMFF'24) organized a seminar on "Technologies in Mobile Filmmaking" online.

This seminar was organized on 3rd April, Monday. Festival Director Ishmam Rahim Kareeb delivered the opening speech of this online seminar at 3 pm.

Independent filmmaker, based in Australia, Irfan Noor K, Marketing Coordinator of Walton Mobiles Rubayat Rahman Chowdhury, and award-winning mobile Filmmaker Andrew Robb were present as guests at the event. Andrew Robb said, “Mobiles are handier to make a film at any moment because there are stories to tell everywhere. And it is possible to run an entire production with a mobile phone.” The seminar discussed the need for mobile phones to use new filmmaking technologies. 

The concluding speech at the end of the seminar was given by the Advisor of DIMFF Syeda Sadia Mehjabin. 

Dhaka International Mobile Film Festival started with the motto 'New Generation, New Technology and New Communication'. DIMFF is a unique platform to showcase the creativity of young filmmakers to encourage filmmaking through mobile phones.
